library rules

• The library is opened during working hours.
• Bags, cases etc must not be taken into the library.
• Eating, drinking and talking are not permitted in the library.
• A pupil may borrow one book at a time. One card will be issued to each student who wishes to borrow books. One book will be issued against the card. O book will be issued unless the card issued in the pupil’s own name is handed in. Cards are the property of the school and must be returned when called for. A charge will be made for cards which are not returned.
• Books must be returned by the last date stamped on the date label (Normally two weeks from the dated of issue). The library can not undertake to supply long-term loan. All books must be returned before the end of each term.
• Readers are responsible for all books issued in their names. Books lost, damaged, pages torn or not retuned inn time must be paid for. Fine may also be enforced for overdue books and for lost cards.
• The librarian confiscates cards of students who contravene the library rules.
• He librarian has lists of books recommended for reading for each standard.
