Rules of
Discipline
Students are to maintain a high standard of good manners and general behaviour.
They should be polite and well-behaved within the school compound and outside, and nurture qualities of respect for elders and teachers, honesty and truthfulness at all times and places. They should always remember that the school’s image is judged by student’s conduct.
Students are exhorted to be orderly, clean in person, neatly dressed. Well behaved at all times and co-operate in maintaining the cleanliness of the school, classroom and campus.
Absolute silence must be observed during the general assembly, while moving into the classroom and in the classroom, even in the absence of teachers during the recess, students will not run or play in the corridors and fields.
In the absence of the teachers, the Monitor assumes full responsibility for maintaining order and discipline in the class, a duty which he/she must fulfill gently, loyally and impartially.
Students given any responsibility should undertake it dutifully and impartially in accordance with the directions of the principal or teacher.
Students must not roam on the verandah and around the classroom during the class hours.
Students should not write, carve or scratch on the school walls or deface the school furniture.
Respect for one’s property and the school property as well as those belonging to others is the mark of a well behaved, responsible student. Damage of any kind to school property will be charged from the student.
Students must always speak in English in the school premises and maintain a high standard in their conversations.
All students must be in possession of a copy of the school hand book/diary, which must be brought to school daily.
Each student should be responsible for his/her belongings and the school will not be responsible for the loss of books, money, clothes, etc. Of the student. It is advisable not to bring any valuables to school.
Books, comics, newspapers, pictures, periodicals, transistors, mobile phones, pen drive, CD’s etc. Or instruments not pertaining to their daily work and not approved by the principal, must not be brought to school. These items once confiscated will not be returned.
Valuable articles found in the school premises are to be handed over in the office.
Students must not throw away paper or food stuffs anywhere in the school premises, except in the bins provided for the purpose.
Students are to allowed to visit the staffroom, unless required to do so by any teacher. They have to stop at door.
Students will not leave the school campus on any account during the school hours.
Late comers and absentees will not be admitted to class without the explicit sanction of the principal.
No fines or collection for any purpose whatsoever should be made without the explicit sanction of the Principal.
A collective petition or complaint will not be entertained but individual complaint will be extended sympathetic consideration.
No student shall take private tuition in any subject from any of the school staff.
Riding motorcycle/driving motor vehicle is restricted for the students.
Parents shall not give presents or tips to the menial staff. Hey are decently paid for the work they do.
Students are to permitted to enter any class other than their own for any reason.
